Where leaders are made
When you come to one of our meetings, you'll see right away who we are: a group of enthusiasts of public speaking in English. We come from different countries, have different accents and cultural backgrounds but what brings us together is that we all want to use the language to convey some message - about our experiences, views and ourselves. And the group help each other get better and better at it!
Every meeting two, three, or four speakers will deliver prepared speeches carrying out projects from the Toastmaster educational programs manuals – this way we learn to prepare speeches, we improve our vocabulary, body language, voice and many other elements of a good speech.
Table Topic Master asks an interesting question and allows volunteers to answer it – this way we learn to improvise, think at hand and quick utterance construction.
The speakers gets a complete feedback from their own personal evaluator letting them know how well were project goals accomplished and from a grammarian, a body language evaluator, an ah-counter and a timer.
Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Through its thousands of member clubs, Toastmasters International offers a program of communication and leadership projects designed to help people learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.
Visit our club meetings as a guest as many times you like, if then you are interested to become member. You have to pay membership fee of 198 zloty and fill in membership application.
